Your Guide to the 2026 Olde-Tyme Peach Festival

Mark your calendar: the 2026 Middletown Peach Festival returns to Main Street on Saturday, August 15, running from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Now in its 33rd year and hosted by the Middletown Historical Society, this rain-or-shine downtown tradition brings a parade, a road race, a car show, live music, crafts, historical exhibits, and plenty of peaches to the heart of town. Here's everything you need to plan your day at the Middletown Peach Festival.

When and Where: Middletown Peach Festival 2026

The festival runs 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Main Street and a portion of adjoining N. Cass Street close to traffic for the day, with entertainment and activities centered right around downtown. Browse the full lineup of summer happenings on our 2026 events calendar, and see which Main Street shops and restaurants will be open for the occasion.

The Peach Parade Kicks Things Off

The day begins with the annual Peach Parade at 8:45 a.m., stepping off from Meredith Middle School and marching down Broad Street to Silver Lake School. Expect marching bands, floats, local organizations, and plenty of community spirit leading the crowd into festival day — arrive early along Broad Street for a good view.

Run the Middletown Peach Festival 5K

Early risers can lace up for the Middletown Peach Festival 5K, one of the longest-running road races in the area, held 7:30–9:30 a.m. on festival morning. Registration is $35 for adults and $20 for runners 18 and under, with prices increasing after August 14. Proceeds benefit the Middletown Athletic Club Scholarship Fund. Full details and online registration are available through RunSignup.

Peach Car Show, Craft Vendors & Family Fun

Car enthusiasts can head to the MOT Senior Center Field, where the Peach Car Show opens at 11:30 a.m. with a $15 registration fee ($20 the day of), dash plaques for the first 60 entries, and awards for the top 20 vehicles. Back on Main Street, the day fills out with a local artist exhibit, historical displays, a peach pie contest, live music, games, and the kid-friendly Just Peachy Family Fun Fest — plus, naturally, plenty of peaches for sale.
