Upcoming Events in Downtown Middletown – 2026 (Tentative)

Downtown Middletown is planning another full year of community-focused events in 2026. While many of these events are familiar favorites, all dates, formats, and details listed below are preliminary and subject to change. Some events may be modified, rescheduled, replaced, or not held at all.

February – Love Middletown

Love Middletown returns as a celebration of shopping local during February. Plans may include in-store promotions, themed activities, or a receipt-based giveaway for a chance to win gift cards. Final details, participation, and mechanics will be announced closer to the event.

March programming is currently under consideration. More information will be shared once plans are finalized.

April – Community Yard Sale

The Downtown Middletown Yard Sale is tentatively planned for April. Residents may have the opportunity to register their sales and be included on a shared map to help shoppers navigate throughout the community. Specific dates, registration details, and pricing are subject to change.

May – Charcuterie Crawl

A spring Charcuterie Crawl is being considered for May. This event typically features small bites and tastings hosted by participating downtown businesses, encouraging attendees to explore the district while sampling a variety of offerings.

June – Flag Day & Pride Celebration

June may include a Flag Day observance, a Pride-focused celebration, or a combination of community-oriented programming. Event format, location, and timing are still being evaluated.

July – Just Peachy Scavenger Hunt & Family Fun Fest

Plans are underway for a summer scavenger hunt paired with a family-friendly event. Activities may include games, challenges, and interactive experiences designed for all ages. Final details will be released as planning progresses.

August – Peach Festival

The annual Peach Festival is tentatively scheduled for August, celebrating Middletown’s peach season with themed activities, promotions, and offerings from local businesses.

September – Dog Day Downtown

A pet-friendly event is being considered for September, potentially featuring dog-centric activities, specials, and opportunities for residents to enjoy downtown with their four-legged companions.

October – Charcuterie Fall Crawl

A fall edition of the Charcuterie Crawl is tentatively planned for October, highlighting seasonal flavors and autumn vibes throughout Downtown Middletown.

November – Tree Lighting & Lamppost Decorating

November programming may include the annual Tree Lighting ceremony along with Lamppost Decorating throughout downtown. Timing, voting, and event structure will be confirmed later in the year.

December – Holiday Parade

The Downtown Middletown Holiday Parade is tentatively planned for December, closing out the year with a community celebration featuring festive displays and holiday spirit.
